  • Savoury breakfasts are the norm in Africa and many other countries around the world. Start your day with a this way and watch midmorning cravings disappear. Choose whole foods and you’ll get a steady release of energy throughout the day. You’ll most likely stay satiated for 4-6 hours at a time depending on your portion size.

If you worry about feeling sluggish, cook your food without oil. Research shows that fatty foods cause your blood cells to stick together, slowing blood flow and causing you to feel tired and fatigued after such meals. I’m not saying you shouldn’t eat any fats at all, do so but in moderation and in a way that works with your body not anyone else’s.

Don’t want to eat this for breakfast, well then eat it for lunch or dinner 😉

I have brown rice, my signature Chickpea stew, this time cooked with aubergines for some veg action 😊 I’m having a much smaller portion of rice than usual because I felt like stuffing some wraps with chickpeas too.
